We strive to provide a conducive environment for people in New Jersey to deepen their understanding and experience of meditation practice and Buddhist studies. The River of Life Shambhala Meditation Group meets weekly at the River of Life Center in Fort Washington, PA, to practice sitting meditation. We practice mindfulness/ awareness meditation - basic sitting meditation. This simple technique is easy to understand and practice, and is a powerful tool to understand and work with mind.
