Our Buddhist community was formed to create a safe spiritual environment to pursue our own Unique path within Buddhist principals. The facilitator, Miira Sudhaa, is a life time Buddhist practioner and a western Ordained Nun. We have a brief talk; utilize the principals of focus on a meditation, and in small groups explore and share our journey with each other at our own comfort level. Urban Zen is a peer-led group in which we meditate, share, and explore the integration of Zen practice with modern daily life. No previous experience with meditation or Zen necessary! We meet Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 at Austin Zen Center. There is also an optional meditation instruction and posture clinic at 7:00.
